Rocky Mountain verses Motosport

I've ordered dirt bike parts from Motosport.com for years. It seems that their shipping times have gotten longer and longer. I just placed a free shipping order with them on 10/17 and it arrived on 10/24, that is 7 days. I also placed a free shipping order with Rocky Mountain on 10/23 and it arrived today, 10/25 via Ontrac. That is 2 day or three days depending on how you count the days. In any case I'll be using Rocky Mountain more in the future was their prices appears to be very similar and there shipping is so much quicker.

Who do you order from?

Dirt Monger
Rocky Mountain, KTM World for hard to get stuff, Bike Bandit, and last month got a new Dunlop Rally Raid for the 690 thru Amazon, who had the best price and free shipping.

Always RMATV. As long as I order in the AM, I almost always get my stuff the very next day.

I order so much shit from RMATV, they sent me a 426 page printed version of their website; I guess so I could still order shit over the phone if my internet is down?

They sent me the same catalog and I was stoked. It was like when I was a kid and would read Dennis Kirk from cover to cover over and over again. It is nice being able to look through the items and get ideas for what to buy next.

And they have Quad parts for you! :teeth:twofinger. Sorry Mike... Couldn't help myself.

I use Rocky Mtn too. $1-$2k a year.

Rocky Mountain for almost everything, especially OEM parts. Free,, fast shipping if you order more than $75. Revzilla for helmets and other gear. Tires from whoever is cheapest (varies a lot). RM customer service has been awesome with returns and defective parts.

RMATVMC ftw

always rocky mountain.
I don't even shop around any more.
I had a few problems with on-trac, and complained to rmatvmc, and rm switched me to fed-ex since then (about 1 year ago).
Always 2-day delivery with rm (and fed-ex), always had great communication with them, only ever had minor problems, and they always made things right.

And Motor Cafe. And Road Rider. I like to fondle the stuff I am buying.

Inappreciate that here in the center of the universe I have that option. I understand that some folks live in BFE.

I buy from RockyMountain a lot. Other than the FE501S clutch diagram being the wrong one and them not admitting it is wrong or changing it, it’s gone pretty smoothly.

Lots of you folks like RM and so do I. They secured me as a customer by working with Dirt Bike Magazine. When I resubscribed for one year for $19.95, RM mailed me a $25 gift card. I redeemed it and have been a customer ever since.

RM, but BTO sports for most things. Next day shipping in Cali if ordered by 2:00 the day before. You get to talk real people too. I usually load up on stuff to get the free shipping.

A friend at work just told me about BTO today. He mentioned the quick shipping too. I'll have to give them a look, but RM has been great.

RM cash back stuff also helps. Usually get the cost of shipping back from the orders I place and makes them still a viable option when I don't qualify for the free shipping. It has never taken more than 2 days to deliver items. Their tires are priced well...closeout gear is good deal, lots of options. Doesn't have everything but it has most the things I need.

Rockymountainatvmc.com. I used to order tons of stuff from motosport, but it takes to long to show up.

Moab on my mind
The pants I ordered from motorcyclecloseouts didn't even ship until a couple days after my order. Nonetheless, it's a good place for great deals on riding gear, if you don't need it tomorrow.
