Took the wife for a short ride on the Honda Shadow. Did a pretty thorough pre-trip... But one thing was overlooked.

Heading east on 116 between Guerneville and Forestville, the bike sputtered out of gas... Yes, rookie move!

Luckily, a really nice guy in his work van knew exactly what happened and had a gas can in hand and got us on our way! California is AWESOME! I'm feeling the love!

Now I have to cruise around with a full gas can in my SUV, to pay-it-forward.

As to the gas starvation being a rookie move...naw, shit happens. I ran out of gas on 37 while on my way home from work when I lived in Vallejo.....twice. No fuel guage and relying on the trip odometer works most of the time. :laughing
