RIP: Rider down 880S before A St, 6/2/16

Driving home this afternoon at around 4:45PM. Came across 3 cars that had a chain reaction crash. After passing the car in front, I saw a red sport bike on its side with the front end badly damaged. There were people walking around with the CHP, but I did not see the rider. :(

CHP was already on scene and an ambulance had just arrived. Wishing the best for the rider.

Saw that on FB. Rip... A woman who stopped shortly after the accident said that he didn't suffer.

There was a bad accident on 880. A motorcycle crashed into the back of a car. I didn't see it happen but saw the man laying on the ground. I pulled over because I'm certified in first aid and CPR. My prayers are with his family. He didn't make it. If any of you know him please know he didn't suffer, he passed upon impact.

drove past this. had heard on the radio it was a fatality, but was still utterly unprepared for the overwhelming wave of sadness when i saw the scene. heartbreaking. rest in peace rider. :rose:rose:rose

Fatality on 880 tonight.

Driving home from the Southbay I heard about two lanes of 880 being closed in the Hayward area. Multi car pileup with a moto and a fatality. Does anyone have any information? I just got that sick feeling in my stomach. There have just been too many of these accidents!
