I was mostly expecting this after hearing that he was in the hospital for covid-19.

An interesting guy who lived an interesting life and a laid back style of interviewing. Married 8 times to 7 women and destroyed his career early on only to recover several years later and forge on.

He had a knack for easily asking the tough questions that disarmed his guests. Coincidentally, a few days ago I watched his interview with Beach Boy Brian Wilson. He asked tough questions. Brian and his wife answered them frankly.
