I've read that people who are highly successful are often self-tormented. They have an internal drive that pushes them to insane heights, but that same drive is connected to feelings of inadequacy and they tend to be hypercritical of themselves. It can lead to depression and all sorts of bad stuff. It's confusing for us regular folks because we can't relate and tend to think those people have it all, but we live in completely different realities. Not saying that's his deal, one post just reminded me of it.
