I'm looking for a basic rental, 500-800cc or so, just for a day. No Harleys, something like a Ducati Monster would be fun. Any suggestions for a shop who rents?

The only rentals I am aware of in San Jose are:
BMW of San Jose will rent out some of their used bike inventory.
Eagle Rider used to have a shop on Monterey Hwy a couple miles south of 280 but I haven't been down that way in a while so I don't know if they are still there.

EagleRider is filled with turds. Go Dubbelju or bust. Dubbelju has actual riders and they take care of their bikes very well. If you're going to rent, they are THE place to rent from.

OB is a member since 2005 so I'm going to say he is passed the squid years and has probably entered the hooligan years.
I know working at Dubbelju we don't really have the bikes squiddy folk are after. The monsters are about as sport oriented as we get and trust me, a Monster 626 is all torque and brakes :laughing
The 796 is a bit more performance oriented but it's still not an inline 4 ready to loft a wheel in a turn.
