The sun is out finally and I'm almost finished with the damn flu.:rolleyes

I was able to carve out 2 hours to cut and trim and fit the fairing.

A little closer. It's currently mounted but rubbing on a few spots.

So it's been 10 months since I started the rebuild. Pretty much nothing happened since spring since I was out riding my KTM 1090R and also building my track Miata.

And also..... work and family and summer vacation and then school started for the kids and college ....

A few dates ago I pulled out the Yamaha and went into it hard and heavy.

I got the fairings to line up but still need to make fairing hangers and trim the 'glass a little more. It's not lining up great. Even off of the bike its rough. But I'll keep at it.

It's looking promising.

Sorry for delay..... my last post was about 7 months ago in November 2019 and in early Dec my house flooded from the rains.:thumbdown

Rebuilding the lower level of the house and the entire family being displaced took precedent. Then Covid-19 of course.....

But now I'm back! The lower level rooms have been repaired and my garage is back in service. With the cars and motorcycles being moved back to SF I have time to continue on my project.

I finally did the last final cutting and fitting over Fathers Day weekend. Today I'm fab'ing some nice fairing braces.

I also fired up the bike and I'm very impressed with the Lithium battery I installed 2 years ago.

More to follow.

Looks Great!

Must have been so frustrating to get so close only to have other things come up for so long.

How about Champions Edition Blue. I had a champions edition R1 years ago. Liked the color.
