Rear Tire Condition

Can someone tell me what causes this line to form on a tire. There's 3 days on this rubber. Thanks

Transition between the two rubbers of a dual compound tire??? Interested to hear what the experts here say...

looks like a dual compound tire to me! how close to the wear bar is the tread? i have lines like that on my michelin power rs right around where the compound changes

Supercorsa SP V3. Wear bars 1/16" away. Was looking to go one more day using this if that line's a non issue. If it is the Q4's have to go back on.

Nahh, that tire is fine for one track day.

Saved me $200 thanks. It felt fine @ Sears on the 10th, fast b pace. I'll be at Sears again and will bring a new spare just in case.

Yah...the sc's don't drop off too much...they still hook up pretty well all the way to the end:thumbup
