Zero sum game?

Keep upping the ante until physics kicks in and you go ". . . .well, that was interesting, I wonder if the recycle truck will take it."

They used to. I got rid of a Toyota Corolla 1600cc I-4 back in the 90s in Walnut Creek. We used old style baskets like the Post Office uses. A little bit each week. The recycle guy was picking up the most recent basket with the crank and flywheel in it. He said; "I've been watching each week and looks like you don't have much left". I told him just the block but it won't fit in the basket. He said to leave it by next weeks bin and he'd take it.

On that note, I hope Dogfeathers doesn't have to go that route. I thing we're all rooting for you.

Perhaps similar idea as freezer but in opposite direction. Heat everything up super hit and toasty. Then dump dry-ice on top of piston. Then really give it a good smack!!!
