Really need help 4 furever home for 8 month kitten

Cream Puff???
Well... After trying to keep 8 month old William, and trying to work out adopting him on the weekends and a couple of rescue organizations...things have come to the point where I need to advertise him to find him a home.
He is neutered, chipped (you just have to register), dewormed, and up to date on his shots. Long story short, I tried to find him a home when he was a young little guy, but didn't have much luck. I worked with a couple of rescues, to try and show him on the weekends during adoption events, which while, they could have been successful outcomes, the person in charge chose not to adopt him out because she didn't find the 2 different adoptions suitable. Which kinda got me upset. The perfect situation to what these adoption people want will just not present itself. Nothing is perfect.
William now is 8 moths old and doesn't trust me or people. I put him in a small adoption cage at the pet store for quite a while, where he got terrified, hid under his bed and didn't show himself. Also I tried showing him during the weekends for a few hours, and it was a bad experience, he just came to resent me and be super scared that I was gonna tear him away from his comfortable home and put him in a cage again. =(
He's in hiding now. Under the bed.. and freaks out if I try to reach for him.
Soo... he's gonna worm up slowly now to his new environment, but I know he'll come around. He is an indoor/outdoor cat. Gets along with other cats and dogs. But very shy and scared right now after being in a small cage at the pet store for quite some time.

He's super cuddly, and will hug and snuggle all night under the covies with you! He's affectionate, playful, and discovering the world. He also has a very cute little short (BOB Tail !!!)

Currently, the small chi at the home I live in does not like cats, and he's confined to my bedroom for the most part! If I put him in the bathroom, he thinks it's punishment... so he's kinda sensitive and needs some re-assurance.

I need help to find him a home. He comes with his litter box, cat food, cat toys, cat bed...and I'll buy anything else you think you need I'll get for you.

HELP!!!! I'M burnt out and can't handle the way things are going anymore. Putting him in a cage at the pet store only makes it worse now. He doesn't trust me anymore like I said, and he comes home from there, freaked out.

Good luck with the fur baby!

Our current one is kind of a similar case. My family adopted her because they noticed that she seemed to want to be pet, but was too scared to come out of her carrier. She is very scared of changes. Even just coming in a different door will freak her out and keep her on edge for a couple days... But at the same time, is a cat that absolutely LOVES her belly being rubbed! Like, dog levels of stretching out and is the only time you can ever hear her purrs.
