he sez the pouring rain got into the distributor on his ‘48 Chief this
year, so his bike did join the BMW on the trouble-trailer in the pic above,
but that the bike dried out later that day and he finished the ride and
got this year’s NorCal TT finisher’s pin ... :thumbup

hey 1962siia, we’ll have to plan on the 2020 NorCal TT, and we can try to buy augustiron a cup of coffee as we pass over the Sierras ... :ride

That's my little CL in the first picture! :) The first day was great. The second day was a bit crazy with torrential rain, thunder, lightning, and hail! My girlfriend and I did most of the route except for the last 25 miles and we were on the smallest bikes.

You should do it, John!

The little 305 completed the trifecta this year - Melee, SOTT, and NCTT. Poor bike worked hard!

I signed up once for the SoCalTT years ago, but didn't get to ride on it ... on my wish list.

I'll have to try to do the NorCalTT again in 2020 ... did the first four in a row and maybe a couple others, but it's now been a few years ...
