Awesome, I've been at it on a very local level but happy to relay or pick up in Marin.
Wife has been cooking at a local soup kitchen for over 25 years. We are both in late 60’s and most cooks and help are older than us. Us geezers need to stay isolated and all the kitchens are all in this same jamb. This is especially true of the older Meal On Wheel drivers. Here in Ukiah we are having a very hard time getting folks their meals. The elderly are putting themselves at risk.
We need you awesome volunteers to contact your local community kitchen and Meal on Wheels and help out please. Pay it forward folks and stock up on old age karma!! Thanks to all helping out in anyway they can.
Don't forget about produce delivery. They delivery produce boxes to your home every week. These services will continue and they are very handy especially right now.

I just signed up so I'm about to find out. What this could be is ordering produce from delivery services or directly from Safeway. I was hoping these dedicated produce shippers would be more reliable.Friends in Colorado reporting delivery cancellations, delays, weird item substitutions. Anyone in Bay area still getting good service from these?
Edit: buddy is doing a run, I'm covered!

I'm not necessarily in need, but some fresh meats, fresh veggies and beer would be nice. I'm well enough to grab them myself, but I'm not sure I wouldn't be spreading infection going out.
We've still got lots of shelf stable stuff, so it's not emergent, but if anybody would like to make a grocery run in Concord, is healthy, has masks etc, I'd be happy to venmo or PayPal you so you don't become a zombie too! :thumbup
I think Two wheel tramp reported that her imperfect delivery was cancelled the other day
Correct. I've been a customer for a year or more and it's usually pretty good but they are so swamped right now that they couldn't get to my order.

Ours is supposed to come next Monday, so I'll update here if it gets cancelled/delayed.
