California State Parks Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division administrates a grant program which has provided significant funding to help operate Santa Clara County's Motorcycle Park. The program provides funding for well managed off-highway vehicle recreation. It supports the maintenance, operation, and enforcement associated with the use of off-highway motor vehicles, and helps fund programs involving off-highway motor vehicle safety or education.
Santa Clara County Parks has submitted our preliminary application to the state OHV division. The 30-day public review and comment period for the Grants and Cooperative Agreement Program begins March 5, 2013, and ends April 1, 2013. This period provides an opportunity for the public to review the preliminary applications submitted to the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division for consideration during the current grant cycle. If you would like to view our preliminary application, please go to: www.ohv.parks.ca.gov
