Just picked up my freshly painted bodywork from Mike and just wanted to post a big thanks for the amazing job he did on super short notice. Mike's not racing this year but still lurking around, if you need a paint job that'll look super and not break the bank give him a shout. PM me for contact info if interested.

Yeah I like how it's clean and a little throwback. I just told Mike I wanted mostly yellow and blue with some white detailing and he came up with the whole thing on his own. Btw the fender wasn't mounted on the left side which is why it looks uneven, it lines up perfectly once properly in place.

Nice big numbers so us cornerworkers can see you coming!

Hopefully I will stay far away from you so you don't get too close a look! ;-)

Thanks to our great prez Chris Van Andel for making the snazzy numbers, he is a man of many talents!

I'll be at Sears, Scott. It may be my only race this year, too much juggling timewise with the twins and race budget isn't helped by $4k/monthly childcare expenses. :-( But my little brother came out from Sweden partly to see me race so we'll be at this round at least.

Awesome and sad at the same time. I look forward to seeing the twins. We will be pitted with Axle Florea.:teeth

Doubtful the little dudes will make it, Brenda is still a bit leery of having them around all that noise and sharp objects, they're only 8 months old (I wanted them to come though). If I hit the fall rounds maybe and definitely next season. Either way I have plenty of pics like all proud papas. :)

$4000/mo for childcare? Holy shit!

Wouldn't it just be cheaper to tell the mom to stop working and stay home?

I'm not sure who you're married to but if I tried to "tell the mom to stop working and stay home" I would pretty quickly find myself living by myself and paying alimony. :)

It's not cheaper for her to stay home but even if it was, taking care of twins all by yourself all day long is a huge undertaking and leaves you with no energy left for anything else. At least with us both being able to go to work we get a break and can come back recharged to tackle the chaos.

I'm not married, yet... but my girl wants to be a stay at home housewife when we get to the point of having kids.

Anyway, I never thought about it from the recharge aspect. That's worth a million bucks in itself. Hope to see you out there soon though man.
