Postronomawhores solstice of capricorn 2020

Hello astronomy geeks, regular barf luddites.

Tomorrow during the solstice the sacred geometry of the solar system will align jupiter and saturn within a tenth of a degree.

The last time this happened was hella days ago when gallelao was still fresh.

So leave behind the keyboard and go outside and see this marvel of nature. Or don't.

I've been watching them move closer together over the past week. Cool to see!

Same! I hope it's not cloudy tonight! Last night there were a few clouds and so the two planets pretty much merged together through the haze.

Someone told me this a long time ago, some of you may appreciate it (Or argue about it since this IS BARF):

"Stars twinkle, planets shine."

This is what I could see from my back yard. Taken with a digital camera without a tripod. Those dark things are tree branches.
