This hairy thing has been hanging around at work. Not hiding during daylight hours. Web is huge, maybe 12-16 inches diameter. Spider body is about 3/8" wide and 3/4" long. Arms are about an inch long for the longest ones. And no, we are not going to kill it with fire. :laughing:laughing:laughing

I want to say Wolf Spider. Do you happen to have a better picture of the face? And maybe a top-down to get a better view of any distinctive markings?

I had a similar spider at my house with different colors (black & yellow). They look very menacing but are supposedly relatively harmless and beneficial for your garden.

Still Good Lookin'
That's the well-known Slightly Out Of Focus Spider. They eat lots of nasty bugs, and are fireproof, so don't bother. :laughing

It's hard to determine its size

Op - can you take a picture, holding it in your hand so we can determine its size better?
