Hi,

Are there any good routes to ride around concord, something quick after work type of ride, to get rid of the itch.

There is usually a lot of traffic on the roads with eveyone heading home, still hopeful to find a route to ride.

Thanks

Adding to the Marsh Creek suggestion, Morgan Territory is excellent into Livermore and you can pick up Mines Rd heading south out of there.

From Concord heading west I would suggest Alhambra Valley > Castro Ranch > San Pablo Dam > Wildcat Canyon > South Park > Grizzly Peak which will connect you to the above suggested Skyline > Pinehurst > Redwoods link

Just a word of things to expect:
Morgan Territory? Not really sprotbile friendly. Ride a dual sport, SM, or luxury starbucks barge with long travel. Really really really bumpy.

Pinehurst from Skyline to Redwood, 2 really sharp switchbacks close together close to the redwood junction side. 1, 2

Take HWY 4 to the port costa exit (#6, i believe)
Leads you to the backroads of Crockett.
