One Piece Touring Suits for HOT weather

"i wanna go fast"
I looking for some suggestions for a VERY HOT WEATHER touring type suit. The sort of thing we use in the bay area to go to work bzzz zzz zzzzzzt! intact business attire. Its not for me. I have my 'stich. Its for my brother, in squiFlorida. Where its so damn hot people ride at 90mph without helmets (legally!), without t-shirts and in flip flops. The sort of place capable of making the most annoying squid thread in barfistory.

I'm worried for my brother after my many years of commuting up and down 101 in rush traffic. If i don't find him a suit cool enough he wont wear it.... and it has to be cheap. I love him, but just enough hehehe.

Thanks for the help,
:ride

Put ice cubes in pockets, wear Under Armour Cool Wear underneath.
The ice melts slowly, and the condensation allows for more cooling as your suit and under armour dries.

Repeat when suit is dry again.

I know a rider who uses one of these under his 'stich, claims it keeps him nice and cool.

This is another product that some people I know like a lot. The cold water is kept in a vest under your suit.

Me...i'll stick with the ice cubes or cold packs.

I have done some cross-country trips using this method, pretty effective, and you're still protected.

Aerostich has an updated One Piece Roadcrafter in production now, maybe he should get one and do a review for us?

The Olympia Avenger is a one piece mesh touring suit. Beats wearing nothing. Probably beats some Bilt mesh gear too. I've had one for years but I haven't had to test its abrasion resistance.

edit Realized I'm wearing it in my picture

Does it have to be a 1-pc? I've got a Rev-It Sand jacket and matching pants that I commute in regularly. I'm impressed with it's range of livable temperatures. With the liners out and vents open, it stays very cool. Another nice thing is that the waterproof liner and the insulating liner are separate, so you can stay dry while staying cool...

Motoport makes the only high quality custom mesh gear I've found. Been using their pants for almost 2 years now and absolutely love them. About to drop the loot on the matching jacket for this summer as well...

I think Motoport has the best ventilation/protection combo. They have a kevlar mesh that is a very open weave but it's not cheap. Some mesh's can melt into your skin from the heat generated by sliding. I retired my cheap mesh after a very short (maybe 10') slide that ended up burning my arm. Lesson learned and now I pay less attention to the price and more to the protection it provides.

He's going to look funny in a 1 piece with his stretched Busa:rofl.

If your looking for a suit with good ventilation and top shelf protection. I would try to find a Arlen Ness K12 Suit. I love mine for hot days. If the temp is below 70*, I have to wear my other suit or put on a thermal. The suit is Kangaroo, so it's a little lighter. I have warn the suit on 100* days and as look as your moving it's pretty comfortable. As soon as you stop you roast. The suit is no longer made, but you might be able to find one new for around 1k or a used one for a lot less.

Moto-Ramay - i've seen that suit, but its way pricey for me to gift right now...
http://ldcomfort.com/ under any textile suit. Did great last summer in many 100+ degree days with my Roadcrafter.
that's too much work for the daily commuter. Specially in FL where your attire is likely to be a tank top and a bathing suit. I like the Olympia recommendation above. Looks well priced too.

Good point, it doesn't. I used to have split gear before, but 75% of the time i got lazy and only wore my jacket. With a one piece is all or nothing. Will consider.... something IS better than nothing.

Interesting.. checking it out looks like a good contender. Just have to find out if it has a liner for riding in the rain gracias!

I used to ride in Miami and was one of the few ATGATT folks. He's gonna bake no matter what, but quality mesh and being in motion makes it livable. Good on you (and him) for getting that gear is not optional, sweat washes off.
