NEED DECALS? PM ME!!!!
appropriate for boys and girls to attend sleep over party? what are your thoughts?
sooooo.... just trying to get some perspectives from different people. my 11 year old son has a best friend who is leaving to move back to Brazil with his mom. his father lives in Oakland and owns a large warehouse space that is regularly rented out for big parties. we got the invitation today for the party where they will have the resident DJ playing music along with a bunch of video games being projected on the walls and then there are 2 separate sleeping areas, 1 for boys and 1 for girls. there will be a big breakfast in the morning and then final goodbyes before his friend leaves that night.
there will be half a dozen or more responsible adult chaperones as well.
I don't have a problem with my son staying the night, my wife on the other hand is freaking out with the idea. A lot of it has to do with what her church friends will think about her. Me , I don't believe in organized religion and am a heathen according to most of her friends. well that and church on sunday gets in the way of my match shooting
so who is right and who is wrong? I will be a chaperone if need be so he can stay the night but really i dont't see the big deal and i don't think she would either if she hadn't been born again in her crazy ass church she attends.
