Off-road patch of land for practising low speed skills?

Similar but different to asking where the closest dirt roads are to the Bay Area, I'd love to find a small patch of land that's undeveloped and unpaved, where I can practise low speed manoeuvres, skills, mounting/dismounting, dropping/picking-up, that kind of thing. Essentially talking about a small playground I guess.

Anyone found anywhere in/near SF where they've been able to play?

You can go to Metcalf and practice at the oval area. That's where I like to practice donuts and wheelies =P

Carnegie has a pretty nice setup. You can ask the gate guards if you can use the practice space on the left of the entrance. Especially during this time were there is no one riding during red sticker season. But if you are taking about a random ass dirt parking lot, I got nothing for you man

I second Metcalf, Carnegie, or Hollister. There are lots of areas at any of those which would be suitable.

I saw a guy on an 1190 practicing tight turns and figure 8's, weighting the pegs and maybe he was doing other things, in the parking lot on Redwood Rd. and I've done the same at the parking lot for group camping on the same road. Not big parking lots though.
