Man that mandatory insurance thing sure is burning Canada to the ground.
I can't speak to Canada bit having any experience with it, but care rationing and insurance run arounds are pretty normal here
it took a couple rounds of antibiotics before Kaiser did anything else when my dad had something swelling in his sinuses. Turns out it was cancer and killed him in a year and a half. Could be that treatment would have worked better if they'd gotten to it sooner...Actually health care in Canada is utter garbage.
It's a miracle if you spend under 6 hours waiting in an emergency room, or if you can get a CT scan after only 4 months of waiting!
My stepdad was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago after being admitted into the emergency room in severe pain (in Canada) the doctors are simply giving him the runaround, disappearing, or reassigning him to other doctors. He still has not had any further tests or conclusive diagnosis. :thumbdown

It's here cause healthcare shouldn't be a political issue. It's a health issue.

You get fined $68 :laughing
Not even that. So long as he had a "hardship", there is no fine. What's a hardship? Whatever you determine is a hardship to you, personally.
So no, there's no fine anymore…for the next two years.
As a Marin resident with 5 motorcycles you're probably not getting a subsidy,.
