very cool, super-interested in 11/14-15, now, as I've never been up toward China Camp. :gsxrgrl

edit: guess you only have a limited number of people who can go? Guess I better have you put me on the "confirmed" list ... :laughing

may have some non-BARF friends interested, too, how many folks can be accomodated? :ride

I have a call in to the ranger waiting to hear back. I'm sure in a month it will be open. The more riders the merrier. I have some people from some other pages coming, probably at about 5-8 who said they are going all together. But I also know about half will only show if your lucky.

So the plan is 815 meeting at the grilling and chilling parking lot in Hollister, train leaves at 845!

So china camp is out, which means the 2nd dirt section is out since its closed due to the fire. So it looks like Laguna seca for camping. We can crusie down to cannery row which would be fun. Just as a fyi there will be a fee to camp there.
You will not need nobbies, I just lower the tire pressure for the dirt section.

Good news, spoke with a ranger with the forest service today china camp will be open for our ride so the second dirt road is back on!

Should be good on a drz, you for sure will be the fastest off road!

So you think, first dirty bike for me and this'll be a first riding it with everything I need for camping :-D Regardless, I'll make up for that by showing up a bit later to any stops along paved sections as I start feeling bad when I flog it above 65/70mph...
