NON-MOTO: Need help finding wiring color codes

I need the wire codes for a 2005 Dodge Durango 6-CD changer stereo head. I tried this link: http://www.modifiedlife.com/2005-dodge-durango-car-radio-stereo-audio-wiring-diagram/ but the codes there do not match the wires I have.

Out of the 19 wires in this harness, I do not have any brown wires and no black/yellow wire. It does have two white/orange wires and two gray/red wires, if that helps. I have been unable to find the correct codes and need them to splice this harness into my RV plug.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

are you trying to install an aftermarket stereo head unit into your durango.
f so do you have a aftermaket attachment plug to connect the stereo head unit to factory plug harness.

Crutchfield's site used to have hookup guides for anything they sell and any model vehicle, and they'll sell both sides of the harness.

Those look as close as anything I have seen sofar. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

What is "CAN B BUS" ???

Jaiger, I am trying to put a Durango pull-out into my RV to upgrade from the hokey OEM RV stereo.

CAN BUS is Controller Area Network. Basically a small network of computers on the vehicle that allow comunication between them. The radio can talk to the BCM (body control module) for example: so the buttons on the steering wheel can change the volume of the radio. The BCM can talk to the ECM (engine control module) so the door can automaticly lock once the vehicle gets above 5 MPH.

That makes sense, but I do not have any brown wires in my harness. So I don't have slots 7-10 filled, but my RV does have front and rear speakers, so I'll want to get this harness dialed in to make full use of the stereo.

I need to find at least 4 of the metal "spades" to insert wires into the harness to add the front speaker (green, green/brown, brown and brown/green) wires listed in that harness. I could steal spades out of the small plug, if I could figure out how to pop them out without destroying them. I tried popping out the BUS wires in slots 6 and 6, but they ended up breaking off. Any suggestions?

Man, this is a much bigger pain in the ass than I anticipated! :party

Yeah i know how to pop em out, its really a feel thing and cant describe how to do it on the computer If you want to bring the connectors to me I can get them out and reposition them. I might actually have some Dodge terminals in my tool box that i could slip in as well. Pm me and let me know.

Ask me about my B-1-D
Here is a quick way to figure which wires go to what speaker
...
1)Take a 9v battery, attach briefly to wire pair
2)Listen for "pop"
3) ???
4)Proffit!
