Hello fellow cycle addicts. I'm Steve and I've been lurking barf almost since it
started. Finally invested a little time to register so maybe I can contribute the occasional bit of knowledge or just enjoy the company of others who share my passion. My first ride was on a Honda S65. First new bike was an SL350 which I traded for a Kawi Mach3 about 6 months later. I shipped that one to Oakland from Honolulu and then rode it to Wash DC. Next was my much modded 73 RD350 for 5 years sold to get 79 CB750F. Then a 82 750F. Engine had to be repaired so found used 750 Katana to ride for a couple of years until CBR900RR caught my attention. 9 years and 945cc kit, shock, cams and more mods later I sold to get my 02 RC51 which I still have. Also a 2007 CBR600 which is now for sale so I can do more mods to RC. The recurring theme here is I have to tinker with them. It's part of the joy. Anyway good to be here, probably see some of you out on the road. Usually out around Berryessa, Napa or Lake county and once in a while hiway 1 up to Mendocino or 128. Safe riding guys.
