New to Area and Back in the Saddle

Recently moved here from Utah. I’ve been here for almost a year. Back in Utah I used to ride an R6. Sold it and took about ten years off. I always wanted a supermoto so decided I needed to get back on a bike (partly due to traffic!!) so I picked up a 2018 Husqvarna 701.

Loving it so far. Here’s a pic of the bike on mt Hamilton which is a great road for this bike! And a pic of me cheesin’ it.

I’m pretty slow right now as I’m getting used to it. It’s hard to kick my old sport bike habits on the SM. You might also see me in MX gear. I like the suit but it’s so restrictive. Haha. Feel free to pass and wave as you go by!

Hopefully these images work. No offense to BARF but it’s been a while using a forum that doesn’t hose photos. And now a days photobucket sucks!

And yes the photo issue have been around for a bit. Our software package does not auto resize pics and phones take such huge pics these days. I crop them down and they load fine, but the extra step is a pain I know.

Thanks everyone! I’m loving mt Hamilton. Tried out mines last week. Those hairpin turns are really fun on a SM.

Then I got a flat about four miles from the mt Hamilton rd exit. That was a fun ride with a flat front. Gotta get a new tire now. Any good shops around here to throw it on?
