Looks cool.

Soccer GK gloves have used that type of anti-hyperextension backhand for a while now.

My experience w/ keeper gloves is that it takes a small bit of extra effort to overcome its rigidity and make a fist: I could see this being a source of cumulative fatigue during a long ride.

The dial-type closure looks cool, too. Don't they use those on ski boots? A friend has some North Face trail shoes that use it, and he loved it up until the little ratchety thing broke. :|
