Neurolinoma or maybe Morton's Neuroma

I had a Morton’s Neuroma when I played a lot of basketball but I played on it anyway when I could. I didn’t have decent medical insurance for most of my 20’s and couldn’t have taken time for surgery anyway. Took a year or two, but eventually the pain went away and I’ve had numbness in the two toes for 35 years

After reading more about Morton's, I'm pretty sure that's not what it is. I would say either Neurolinoma or just a Neuroma, but when it inflames, it's hard to walk on. Looking forward to the MRI so we can get this taken out.

LOL, they don't know what caused it but it is most likely something in my foot that my body didn't like. It "encapsulated" it in some soft of tissue that is about 6 mm round. The good news it is probably not a Neurilemmoma which is what they meant to tell me it might be. A Neurilemmoma would be a tumor growing from my nerve in my foot. That's a much more involved surgery.
