I'm ashamed to ask for help, as we are always doing our best to for the dogs and cats in need, but one of my cats is not have the best senior years. We now have three cats and two dogs in our home, and Nekko is being bullied by one of our other cats. We have moved her to a room in the garage, where she is living in isolation mostly by herself. She's super talkative, very inquisitive, and while she is an indoor only cat, enjoys going outside supervised for short periods of time. If anyone thought they might be able to show her a new home, we would pay for plenty of food, Miralax and litter to last quite a long time. She is around 15 or 16 and is up to date on all shots. Hi Everyone!
My name is Nekko, why do I deserve a forever home? Well, it’s been rough for me, as a kitten my sister always shined, I was the one that stayed in her shadow, while I am very outgoing and inquisitive, she was more beautiful and it seemed everyone always wanted to play with her instead of me.
As I became older my younger male housemate started picking on me and really giving me a hard time. My parents felt it was necessary to relocate me to the garage, while it is comfortable, I miss my old life, interacting with my parents, and just feel I deserve better. It’s been so hard on everyone and extremely stressful.
I’m very outgoing, talkative, and not really scared of much, including small dogs, other cats and people. I use the cheap Feline Pine litter, and could use an occasional lion cut to keep my super long fur shorter and more manageable. I eat dry kibble and like wet food once per day with Miralax to help me manage my diet.
My dream and hope is that someone out there will see me and fall in love with me and appreciate my individuality and give me a forever home, where I can live out my senior years and not have anyone picking on me. Please consider giving me a second chance.
