My First Lithium

My OEM Yuasa in my Fz09 finally gave up the ghost the other day after nearly 37k miles. I have decided to purchase the equivalent Antigravity lithium battery. Notes on the Revzilla site say I should ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

I own a standard black and decker 12v trickle charger (model: BM3B) which works just fine on the Lead Acids I have used until this point. Apparently lead acid chargers are not recommended since desulfation functionality intended for a lead acid can ruin a lithium.

I have emailed Black and Decker asking for specifics since the product descriptions and user manuals make no reference to desulfation.

Does anyone have a creative solution that can ensure my new Lithium has a healthy start to its new life, while avoiding having to shell out $40 - $50 for a special charger?

Thank you so much for the offer. I'll DM you if it comes to that but I dropped it in and had two commutes out of it and it has been just fine.
