Moto Backpack recomendation

Hi all,

My car was broken into and my old Kriega back pack was stolen from my trunk!
I'm in the market for a new moto backpack for use getting to and from work.
It needs to hold comfortably and cleanly.

Cleats
Shoes
Laptop
Folio leather binder
Soccer ball
misc additional clothing
Goalkeeping gloves

I'd like it to be water repellent at the very least and waterproof ideal.

The two biggest hurdles I usually run into for moto backpacks are:

1) The straps are a pain in the ass to get over the shoulder armor of my Dianese Jacket I either have to completely loosen them to get my arms through and then tighten back up which friction rubs the leather on the jacket and is overall very inconvenient.
2) Must have additional ability to secure across chest/waist without having a billion flapping tails from the clip straps. (Bonus if it can be done in gloves)

Please leave any of your reviews/experience/tips or current backpacks here! Thanks!

Man that sucks about getting your previous pack stolen - i have this A* backpack i no longer use - it's basically new, you can have it if you want to come pick it up - should fit everything that you want to fit and it has a waterproof cover that fits into the pack - the color i have is the black and red that's in the video.

check out "action style" day packs. I have a Jack Wolfskin "Hotshot" that was on sale for $35 and has all features you want. Used for skiing/boarding, mountain climbing etc.

I would get an American Kargo trooper bag. I commute with one every day and have thought it does great. They also stand by their warranty. I had a small issue, and they replaced the bag. The butterfly straps are way more comfortable and secure than other backpacks that I have used on a bag.

I love my Kriega R20. Ive had it for over 7 years and theres not a single tear on it. I am a Kriega dealer if you want to look into pricing on a new pack.

On with the show...
Sounds like you need another Kriega. R20 or R25? I have a Kriega Sling bag myself and love it. Carries just enough of what I need for a day's ride (iphone, compact camera, wallet, hat, extra layer, EDC, etc). I got my pack from The Visor Shop in the UK - great price and fast delivery.

This is my opinion too. The Kriegas are hard to beat. They go on easy and are very secure. I have two myself: an R25 I use off-road and an R20 that I use on the street now and then.

I've crashed multiple times in the R25... wait, I mean my friend, who borrowed it, has crashed in it... anyway, it's held up quite well. :thumbup

I have a Timbuk2 backpack with a retroreflective stripe for safety. It's comfortable, they come in a few sizes and they are totally waterproof. They are not moto specific though.
