More search weirdness

I just got a Grom, whooo! I'm gonna search on BARF for interesting threads to peruse, whooo! There are only ten threads on all of BARF that reference "grom," mostly from over 15 years ago, whoooo! - wait, what?

I've mostly given up on most sites searches and just site search with google, eg site:bayarearidersforum.com grom

Can't help with the tech problems but i LOVE my Grom so CONGRATS on buying one. You won't regret one second!
I am surprised that mini bikes forum isn't popping up.

The data base is resetting search functions. Not sure why it is screwed up, but it started with the fix on Friday or so.

Last I heard there were 6 million posts to go.

Should be fixed soon.

Yes. We've noticed problems for a few days and I initiated a re-index over the weekend. The process works its way up in order by post ID but posts written since Sunday at about 1:15 PM were also indexed as they were created. So right now, the search results will have a big hole in the middle between about 7.6M and anything posted since Sunday afternoon.

I think the index has completely rebuilt now. The tool I have access to doesn't make it obvious the task ran to completion but it looks like it did and the search results I'm seeing look complete.

Please let me know if it looks like your results are incomplete.
