I uninstalled/force-removed some auto updates in WinXP. I had to reboot my pc a few times and now I am missing the entire FILE menu bar (File-Edit-Tools-Help-About) in both normal explorer windows and IE.
Here is a screenshot showing the before and after.

Any ideas or suggestions as to what might help me get back my Menu Bar are much appreciated.

You need to do a System Restore, from a date before you messed it up.

Go to Start, Accessories, System Tool, System Restore.

This is how you remove updates also.

Tip: set your updates to manual, so you can see what is going to be updated. You can uncheck the one's you don't want.

I am paranoid so they are set to manual. I tried Sys Restore but it say no changes have been made :(.
It said something about progs like Media Player not finding the right entry points in file 'MSVFW32.DLL'....
