Have to go to a baby shower Sat afternoon so we're going for a quicky at Metcalf Saturday morning. We will try to make it there early. Around 9 AM is usually classified as "early" for us... See you there! :teeth

Yes we had a lot of fun on the single track trails, GP Track, TT Track and MX Track! We got there at 7:30AM and rode until 10ish. I put some big dents in my rims going wide open on the whoops on the back side of trail 3. Lots of big sharp rocks in there, I just kept the front light and the throttle pinned. Lots of fun! :thumbup

On the Way back we stopped at Road Rider and Offroad Only.

Next time Rick! ;)

Pierre,
Maybe +2psi more in the rear tube if you are going to be riding wide open. It will save your rims. Unless you were just looking for a reason for new Excel orange anodized super duper rims.:teeth

I'm a little too concerned with getting dents in my body (and no medical coverage till Sept 1) to go WFO :mortifer through there ... and the 10-12 lbs I'm running in my tires might be a touch low for that too :skull

I'd never heard of Offroad-Only before...

I put 13-14 psi instead of the usual 10-12 psi that we run when it's wet. I don't know if I want to put more than 14... Should I?

It opened recently. We saw the big banner and decided to check it out. It is actually owned by Joe Racer Products.

Pierre.
Put 14 in see if you like the results, try 15. Air is virtually free, and you can always stop on the trail to bleed it out if you don't like it.

The other option is to hit one bump hard and fly over two other. This way you reduce the number of impacts. Or learn to hop from the top of one bump and skip off the tops of others. The real fast guys can do that. I'm surprised you aren't doing it.

I'm full of ideas, when it comes to spending other people's money.
