Looking for some Sacramento or Bay Area date ideas

Hello, friends. I'm looking for some input on a nice place to take a certain lady either around Sacramento or SF/bay area. Dinner and a movie is too easy, boring, and forgettable. But nothing expensive either.

Pretty open to all sorts of ideas. Hiking, community events, tours, museums, comedy shows, whatever. Something you've done that turned out really well. Places to avoid. Throw 'em all out there.

One of the things that got my wife when we were dating was I found out what she liked; manga. I took her to a manga book store and bought her the latest installment of a series she was reading, then took her up to the Marin headlands to watch the sunset, then down to Sausalito for dinner. We go to the same place for dinner every year on our anniversary.

You could take her to some obscure balcony in a high rise somewhere in san francisco to give her a different perspective on the city. You could take her to the headlands to give her a higher-than-the-top-of-the-GG-bridge view of the Bay, where you can see the curvature of the Earth itself in the ocean's horizon. Shit, take her to street level in the fisherman's market and buy her a crab sandwich off the cart - that shit's the bomb.
