Who was Dax Shepard riding with at Sonoma when he crashed? Z2? And who has some good GoPro footage? What group was he in? Did he take anyone out with him? What corner? Thanks.

Pretty sure on Friday he was riding in B group on an R1 and crashed going into bus stop. There’s a series of photos in this folder of the aftermath:

Really? You had rear wheel lift for the length of a football field? Even if someone was going 200 mph and going to brake to 30 mph, would you be on the front wheel for 100 yards?

And the media is calling it a motorcycle accident? Vs. self induced crash.

I feel sorry for anyone else on track with him that day.

I believe Danny Pedrosa could do that. Dax, nah, not buying it. Sounds like an adrenaline induced tale.

clearly you did not see the CHIPS remakes because that man is very able to make wonders with a bike!

Just came across an article in Revzilla that brought this up, so decided to look more into it because I'm thinking that may have been him I saw crash at Sonoma in B group at the Yamaha only day Friday. Seems like it was. Yes he was right, he did pass about six of us going into turn 9 the chicanes. Where he was going and how he thought he was going to make that work that deep using that line:dunno I ended up having to go straight thru as not to hit him. Luckily he didn't take anyone else out. On top of that though, he stood by his bike and wouldn't leave it for about 2 or 3 laps, maybe more :facepalm

I didn't have my gopro on yet unfortunately, it was only the 2nd session of the day and I was concentrating on learning the track still. Curious to know others pov of the crash that was there too.

Heh, I thought that was an R6...and didn't realize that was Dax Shephard! Right in the middle of bus stop...and he decided to stand there! Oh well, I assume he's ok...
