Call around to the motorcycle personal injury attorneys that sponsor BARF like Scotty Storey, Law Tigers and others.
Why have you waited to contact an attorney? That makes your case more difficult.
Vehicle assault us not a civil case, that is a criminal case to be handled by the cops and the local district attorney.

I don't know who you spoke to previously but anytime you were involved in anything where there might be a civil suit you should consult an attorney immediately.
You didn't do that and that seriously hampers your case.
I hope you can find an attorney that will take it on but you may not be able to find one.
I don't know what you meant by handling it some other way because if there's any civil lawsuit the only person that can move that forward is you. No one else is going to do it.
If it's a criminal case that's a whole different case totally separate and independent of any civil case.
The difference between a criminal case and a civil case is a criminal case has someone going to jail. A civil case the only thing that the court can award is money to the person that was injured that would be you.

Don't look at the criminal justice system as your savior.
Many times its not going to work out for you the victim.
There are different types of justice.
Your only recourse is to go civil right off the bat.
Although you have witnesses, and that's good, your video shows no collision, only noises, and a bike sliding. one can only suggest you fell or dropped the bike.
I hope your injuries aren't too bad.
You should of Lawyer'd up long ago and made this monkey pay.
Anything else to the contrary no matter how you feel about it was a MISTAKE.
Whammy hates hearing people say..... Ohhh i dont want to sue, i feel sorry for the guy.
Bullsh*t says Whammy. Insurance or not if you play you have to pay.
Even if they it isnt much. Law wise he might not get convicted.
But insurance for him in the future might be impossible to get. I use this term loosely.

+1 dude just happened to be recording. Glad you made it out of that situation OP, hope you are well physically. Go get that driver civilly ASAP! Any video of the second car that hit your bike on purpose?

Not strong enough if you need to find an attorney two months before the statute of limitations takes effect. Why you’ve waited this long, I don’t know. But start making phone calls right now, many will not be able to represent you on such short notice. Paperwork may take up that whole 2 month’s time anyways.
