That guy is talented.

I don't see how a coffee shop makes money. People sit there for an hour surfing on their laptop after buying a coffee. So the shop makes a buck per hour per seat. How long can a business stay afloat at that rate?

Ok then double it and say the shop makes $2/hr/seat. That still doesn't seem like near enough revenue to stay afloat. Obviously coffee shops exist so they must make money. Its just surprising to me that they do.

I'd say more around $3-4 a cup depending on what they ordered. And that's just the minimum. And not everyone sits around and even those that do eventually run out of coffee and typically want more.
