Looks like he is pointing out how they aren't lined up centerline with the nose and chin. His forks are bent.

Tom's offset dentition has troubled me since I first noticed 20 or so years ago. It creeps me out. Also, I don't really think that highly of him as a actor or human.

He's had drift, probably from a tooth extraction at a young age that created an alignment that couldn't be fixed, with all of his money.

It happens, no reason to put somebody down because of their teeth. I've dealt with tooth issues since before 5 years old because a doctor up in northern Canada (The bulletin hadn't gotten up there about not doing that) gave me tetracycline when I was 1-1/2 years old for German Measles, That stopped the enamel from forming on my teeth and has cost me enormously.

It's possible that he was born with a missing tooth.

I only have three bottom incisor teeth. I had four baby teeth, but only three permanent ones. My elder sister had a co-joined baby tooth in the same spot, but had two separate permanent teeth. She was also missing all four wisdom teeth. My youngest sis was missing her lower bicuspids.

What are the side effects of tetracycline?
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, mouth sores, black hairy tongue, sore throat, dizziness, headache, or rectal discomfort may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Well I might take enamel issues over a black hairy tongue

Temporary vs permanent. There had been a bulletin out for several years but it hadn't filtered up there.

I had 11 cavities before I was 5. Some of my earliest memories are being at the dentist and having my teeth drilled. Sucked.

Huh. I never noticed that. You'd have to pay me $5 to start caring. Some of his movies are fun, but I'm not a huge fan of the guy. I think rumors of his personal life irritate me, which is silly, because he's due the same right to his opinions, weirdness, and privacy as the rest of us.

I like that he hasn't had his teeth "done". I've had braces and my teeth aren't perfect--just better than they were. I didn't want to deal with hardware for 7 years. Anyway, I'm hardly one to cast stones on the orthodontic front!
