Holey sh*t! :wtf I hope you're typing/texting this. Keep your posts to a minimum for the lawyers, as if you didn't already know. I know you're well south of the Bay Area, but please let us know if we can be of any help and how your recovery is going.
Heal up. I too did 3 verts in my back and one in my neck. Most pain I'd ever felt for a long time (and occasionally still), but no long term paralysis. Hope better for you.
Sorry this is so big. I'm doing better each day. Still have pain but it gets less and less. I've been in Santa Barbara spending my final days with my mom who's very sick. We just found out she terminal earlier this week. I't been a horrible week but I need to face this despite all the pain I'm going threw, wether it's in my heart mind foot, neck or back.
Wow, sorry you're having such a rough time. Don't have much to offer other than virtual (((HUGS))) and well wishes despite it all. Glad you're still at least able to be here sharing with us.
Oh my. So sorry about your Mom and your injuries. Given the extent and the photo you sound lucky. Hope you got a good attorney.
I really am awed by your apparent fortitude man. Such a tough deal and...... I really don't know what to say other than heal up. Love her while you can. Watching my Mom go was the hardest thing ever.
Last month was the toughest one I've experienced but I'm keeping positive because that's what my mom would of wanted.
I work at a motorcycle dealership that's been around since 87 and one of the owners hooked me up a really good attorney who rides and was also hospitalized by a careless driver. We know a few people he's helped and he's highly recommended. Luckily the lady who turned in front of me has good insurance and the police report is 100% in my favor. I was only a block from work and was going under the speed limit.
It's going to be a bit before I can get back to work. Until then I'm stuck watching lots of TV in bed and teaching my dad to shop and cook. Despite all this, I can't wait to get back on a bike and rack up some milage. I also have a Honda RC30 that I've been restoring over the past year and a half and just got the last part I needed 3 weeks ago. Hopefully I'll be fit enough to finish it up in a few weeks. All the heavy lifting's been done so it shouldn't be difficult to work on provided I do a little at a time. It'd be nice to have something to do to keep my mind occupied.
