Leaking O-ring on the Gear sensor

Hi,

My 2017 Ninja 650 has developed a mild leak in the O-ring on the gear sensor. I plan on replacing the O-ring. Will that be a sufficient fix? Have others seen similar trouble?

Similar trouble yes... But there is a 32 year difference in the age of our bikes.

I just did this on this RZ350. It will be interesting to see if your 2017 ninja is at all similar to this old bike. This was very simple on mine.
