Hey fast boys and girls..anyone heading to T-hill on May 13th or 14th??? :D I will be there with bells on! Just went through two weather sucks days at Laguna yesterday and Monday. Many folks fell including my best friend. He's cool no biggie except bike damage. Remember when it's cold your tires are too
:twofinger so warm 'em up! 7 guys fell on Monday and at least 5 on Tuesday :eek I saw a guy from UTAH who was in a wheel chair, but had his bike all dialed in with bicycle toe grips on the pegs and this wild training wheel set up that moved up and out of the way once he started to roll...Now that is passion! Unfortunatly he also fell in turn 8. He was okay to, but the bike totally hammered. It was still better than work :troy
See ya'll

hey right on......

HUmmmmm now I need to save some money for tires!!! dam these 207rrs will not last till then.

It also says its a NOVICE day only. WHat do you guys call Novice???

I have been to T-hill twice. The first time I went there I went from the C group all the way up to the A group because I never got passed in the C group or the B group. You should have seen me...I thought I was going to go out there and F it al up again......hahhaha I got my ass kicked in A group. I think I needed to buy a Lower Case "a".

I was pulling 2:10-2:15's on 207zr's

I have another year under my belt on my R1 and another day at T-hill also.

IF I qualify then I'd like to go ride with you guys on July 10th.

How many people do you expect to be there?

I think too many people are timing at the track that should not. This is why I said to leave to timers at home because this day is about learning. Thunderhill is a horsepower track and most bigger bikes do about 2:15-2:20 by just whacking the front and back straights. 2:10 is very impressive if every lap is that, not that I am taking anything way from your times.

I would welcome Fasterr to come out and join us. I would put you in A group but just be curtious to other riders. This is not about racing and not letting anyone pass you. We have riders who do 2-2:08s riding in A group so please do not race with them. It is not a matter of qualifing but just respecting other riders. This is strictly a FUN trackday and as always we have AFMers and maybe AMA people out there. We dont like hunting people down because they are not following the rules.

We will have about fourty riders total 20/20.

Wei7,

Hey I am all about learning. This is why I went to the track in the first place. I personally think everyone should take there bike to the track no matter what there riding. This is the testing grounds for riding fast and seeing what you and your machine will/can do.

As for timing.....I wasn't timing, my friends were and we they were also filming. We could get the times from either source.

Trust me, I want to go out to the track with you guys but, I also have to live. You know anyone who wants to buy a 1965 bug with a 2180cc engine with a blower on top of it? I have one....so far theres only two in the bay area like this. It will not be cheap but still...almost one of a kind. Fast???? ahhhhhhhhhhh yeah scary fast and I recommend not driving it in the rain....it spins to easy. I'd say it has around 250 hp and more if you want it. I also have a water/alcohol injector kit I have not put on it yet.....

I sell this I will be able to do a lot of track day!!!!

Hey Sean,
Not as of yet...T-hill is so hot for an old guy in the summer.
I have been thinking about it...might rent an RV so I can sit in A/C comfort when off the track. I will be heading up for the Sierra track day the end of the summer..sept. and will go to RDCYCLIST track day like sept 17th. If you find something interesting let me know..work is slow and I am a junkie for sure :eek
Take care ma brother.

Hey BUMAN,

go somewhere and get a "misty mate"....its that thermos thing that you pump up and is sprays a fine mist to cool you down. I took one those to Burning Man and I have also used it at T-hill before....that thing works great....maybe get a few and hang them around an easy up!! It could cool off a large area.

I went to OSH, and bought a 2 gallon sprayer used for pestecides and such. It keeps the pressure long enough for a good wetting.
