"Jumped" a curb, unsuccessfully

Parked bike (street triple) on sidewalk, when was rolling away hit a curb with oil sump. It felt quite strong, there is a noticeable scratch on bottom of sump, but nothing is leaking.

Should I be worried about stuff like engine mounts being damaged or other micro damage which is not visible, yet? And is there a reasonable (without checking each bolt) way to verify everything is okay?

PS: I'm pretty sure it's just my paranoia, but would like to hear opinion on subject

I really doubt u could crack the engine mounts, frame, or anything that really mattered without also damaging the oil sump. think about the relative strength of each. an engine mount is a beefy chunk of aluminum with a large bolt thats meant to support the whole bike. the oil sump is thin aluminum meant to hold oil and occasionally get hit by rocks.

Oil sumps are usually pretty durable. Some bikes are notable exceptions: FZ/MT/FJ09 and XSR900

which is why I have a skid plate on my xsr

Solid hits are reason to monitor the oil pan for developing leaks... if the motor
mounts were affected the first signs would be increase vibrations felt through
the bars... to go back to normal vibrations the mounts just need re torquing...

Parking in SF usually involves some sort of incline... always rest with 1st gear
selected with the bike pointed up hill to prevent the side stand from folding......

I did that one time on my KZ750 and struck the curb with my exhaust which caused an immediate leak where the headers tie into the tubes underneath.
I pay attention to jumping curbs ever since.
