I had my neck surgery with bone implants in mid November. Three months later, a couple days ago, my surgeon cleared me to resume any exercise I wanted, moderated by pain. Up to now it's been only very light weight exercise, probably lost 4-5 pounds of muscle.

I was hitting 25 pushups, now I'm hitting two. Which is better than two weeks ago. I figure in a couple more months I'll be closer to 15.

What I've heard is that it will probably be a year to full return.
