I received an e-mail today from Ironman Dual Sport, stating that they have been operating in the red for 7 years and will cease operations immediately.
I've never been on one of their rides but have always wanted to. I know Don Ivans has struggled for years as well. I used to ride with Don, and always had an absolute blast. He was able to string together the best single track, even when you thought it was not there. His rides are epic.
If you are an accomplished rider and want to try a Dual Sport ride, find a buddy to go with and find Don Ivans or someone like him. Do it before it is too late, as these folks are drying up. You'll wish you started earlier.
