I just bought a Wii

Its not an Xbox, but I can play video games again and am very happy about that, but I've come to realize I know very little about what the Wii offers aside of Mario games and Zelda.

BARF, I ask for your help in reccomending some good games for this system. If you know of any racing games aside of Mario Cart, let me know !!

no idea about racing games, but the sports ones are fun as hell. I work up a sweat playin some of those.
boxing, tennis, golf, baseball...a lot of them make excellent drinking games AS LONG AS YOU WEAR THE WRIST STRAPS. :laughing

Super Smash Bros, Call of Duty Black Ops is available, Golden Eye 007, tons of party games if you are so inclined. There are a few Need for Speed games as well for racing. Enjoy!

:laughing I've read tje stories of people breaking shit because they didn't use the strap.

And, are you speaking of any specific Wii Sports game ?? I know they have more than one and a friend said one of them sucks but he couldnt remember which. :x

Didn't know the COD games were on Wii, good to know !!! I am quite familiar with the NFS speed games so I will defi itely look into those. I know the newest one is available, i may just buy it or find a copy of the first NFS Underground so I can get bCk in touch with my fast and furious self. :laughing

if you want it hacked so you can play DVD's and home brew let me know:teeth
it is completely reversible with no chance of bricking it like the old hacks. you can actually back up your games to usb sticks and play them from there also as it will save the disk drive in your wii in the long run.:thumbup

Wii games are cheap, and used are even cheaper.....GoHastings, gamestop, gamespy, etc....

I just boxed up my Wii and the few games I had for it. It's OK, but the PS3 is really the only gaming console worth having. And yes, I have an Xbox 360s and the PS3 kills it.

If I could afford a PS3 I would have one, but I'm on a budget and having a couple friends willing to loan me some games made my decision easy.

Make sure you use the strap, I've seen TVs that had the controller thrown into them - no good.

I did it... super easy. Let me know if you need to borrow Indiana Jones (to enable the WiiBrew/Indiana Pwns hack). Getting to the DVD menu is not super-elegant but easy enough. The DVD menu system is pretty awesome. Oh, and the Wii controls the volume too, all using intuitive button options on the Wii controller :thumbup.
