Going to share this video Doug "thepretender" took on my Birthday Ride Sunday the 20th. Not everyone checks out Group Rides. Everyone does need to ride the Little Dragon while the pavement is so nice.

As someone who lived close enough to do that route on a weekday after work, I recommend starting 49 a little further north. Go up Old Priest Grade and down 120. That section of 120 has some epic sweepers with tons of visibility. THEN go southbound on 49. The section from 120 to Coulterville has some good sections as well. If you're not stopping in Mariposa for lunch exit at Bear Valley and go through Hornitos > Merced Falls > Snelling to avoid traffic and LEO on 140.
