Hello Barfers,

Been trying to locate and purchase the HONDA service manual for my 2008 Honda Nighthawk CB250 but cannot find a copy online.

Does anyone know if the manual for slightly earlier models of the Rebel 250 would be applicable? Ebay has this one: HONDA GENUINE FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL CMX 250 C REBEL 1996-2004 REPAIR SHOP BOOK

Or does anyone have the one for the 2008 Nighthawk 250 for sale?? Better online leads?

Thanks!

Quite a bit is shared, but Haynes has a manual for the Nighthawk here. On eBay too.

Helm is your source for Original OEM Honda Manuals, designed specifically for
your vehicle or equipment.

Original OEM Manuals are more accurate and complete than any other
service information available. OEM Manuals contain thousands of
pages of diagnostic and repair information!

These are the same manuals your dealer service center uses so you
know you're getting the technical information needed to service
and maintain your vehicle or equipment.

Thanks, Victor, I just may take you up on that one day.

Meanwhile, I found a pretty cool site called Service Shop Repair Manual that has tons of new and used paper manuals for great prices. Got mine for $10 (most places want over $40 for this one).

Will let you know if it doesn't arrive, may be too good to be true but $10 was worth the risk!

It's a really easy bike to work on, too.

One weird thing about it is the lack of an oil filter, so if you're getting ambitious about service you can dig in and clean the oil screen, which almost certainly has never been done. IIRC it requires removing the oil pump though.

Thanks zixaq, good to know. I think this little bike is going to turn me into a weekend mechanic cus I want her to run like a queen!
