Looked like a pretty easy crash, considering what it could have been. That's some crazy shit, but it still makes me want to head north and rally.

I hit one on wild cat chasing DJNick. I did not go down but damn that bird was tough. Hopped off the road before I could claim my prize :x Don't want to think about if he hit the front wheel! Was blinded for a few secs from all the feathers :laughing

Never hit a turkey and never hope to. I had a "bird"* fly out from the side of the road on a corner on Skyline. It hit my lower fork and spewed bird guts all over the lower fairing of my '87 FZR1000.

^this. As you can see, my fan club has all my details although I don't care that much about them to recall who they are from post to post. My username is the same.. Essentially, people spent the majority of time there ranting about comparisons of the S1000RR/R1 and other technological 1000cc motorcycles in comparison to the 1000rr or complaining about why Honda hasn't updated the 1000rr. I grew tired of it and engaged the foolishness in a monster thread with spec sheets/facts and logical discourse to put it to bed, I offended several users by bashing reality over their head and it exposed the underbelly of the site which would necessary threaten the revenue stream. So, I was banned for reason : Camp counselor w/ no warning or definition as to why. I rejoined and kept a low profile and the mods felt it enough to ip search and lock me out. So, I left. The site became horrible anyway.
So, that's the full details. I enjoy bayarearidersforum because people aren't so easily offended. The topics don't center on mindless ranting about spec sheets. The user base is funny, people know how to take and toss jokes, there is a healthy level of troll, and many topics to discuss.
I'm happy to be here and happy BARF has allowed me to stay. The mods remind me of the rules whenever I get out of hand and I fall in-line .. I know there is a group that has certain views of me but I just find them entertaining. I am rather
