Thanks everyone! Yes I'm kinda new at riding I'd say because I usually only ride during the summer. I bought my bike a while ago in 2008 and rode quite a bit but the last 4 years since me and my wife adopted our 2 new babies a 1yr old and a 2 week old (fostering first in 2016 then were able to adopt in 2018).

For experience, I don't have any formal training but I have done 4 track days. 3 at Buttonwillow and 1 at Willow springs. I bought a race bike right before we got our kids in hopes of using it but have not had the opportunity so I really need to just sell that (maybe on here sometime). Track days are a blast and I've learned a couple of things from the control riders making even more enjoyable out there.

I did some work in Fresberg, and have a friend who lives in Oildale.

We have had awesome rides to Kernville. That will happen again soon...

Thanks Butch! Yessir I'm in Bakersfield.....north west though. I work all over town, east side, west, south, even from Morro Bay to just east of Needles off the 40 at the Colorado River.
