Help please (cracked header on 04 gixxer 6)

On my 2004 gsxr600, my header is cracked. So I need to replace it. I'm staring at my bike.... do I need to rake off the radiator or is that necessary to take off the header? And if you know anyone with some full exhaust, header or just a can for sell, respond. I'm outa commission till I fix it : (

As I recall, I had to loosen the radiator to remove the exhaust, but I didn't have to remove it or drain the cooling system. Exhaust removal was not terribly difficult.

Ya I took off the radiator. It's super easy tho since my fairings were already off, just 3 bolts. This is easier than doin it on a Honda civic lol.

The 04 GSXR is pretty easy to work on. :thumbup

You can just let your radiator dangle (secure it with some string if need be), but you will want to do at least that much for the sake of your knuckles.

I can probably fix it for you. I've welded up cracked exhaust before amongst many other bike parts. And when I'm done it will be good as new. Let me know if I can help. I'm available almost anytime.
